About the Role

Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal midwifery care
Deliver holistic, woman- and family-centred maternity services
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Participate in rostered shifts, including night duty and public holidays
Support and educate women and families throughout pregnancy and childbirth
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital and public health standards
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and professional development activities

Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Evidence of RANZCOG FSEP credentialing
Experience in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Flexibility to work all required shifts, including nights
Willingness to provide:
- Police Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of required vaccinations
Eligibility for Australian visa sponsorship (if applying internationally)
