Legendary rapper and hip life God, Reggie Rockstone has disclosed that he has never been broke and that he ventured into music because he is passionate about it.
Weeks ago, Shatta Wale called the ace rapper poor during an interview. The hip life grandfather dropped a freestyle titled “Billionaire Spirit” following the statement made by shatta Wale that he is broke just like other Ghanaian musicians. The video of the freestyle began with shatta Wale’s statement. “I am 50 plus years old, these kids been envying, y’all stuck with me like MTN” is a line in the freestyle.
In an interview with Happy FM, Reggie clearly stated why he entered into music. He said that he did not start doing music because of financial gains but because he had the passion to do it. He indicated that he was not born into a poor home. He perceived music as a gift and his father supported his vision by building a studio for him at the beginning of his music career. Reggie continued by urging people to just enjoy his music and stop touching on his financial issues. He also mentioned that he has a wonderful family, a beautiful wife and good health and that is all he needs.
