Position: Works Engineer

The Works Engineer serves as the operational backbone of our project delivery, ensuring that construction activities progress efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to approved designs and specifications. Consequently, you will coordinate seamlessly between contractors, labourers, and supervising authorities. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on site operations and construction activities
- Ensure all building and manufacturing processes follow approved blueprints and design specifications
- Coordinate tasks effectively between contractors, labourers, and supervising authorities
- Analyse available information including plans, survey reports, and maps
- Plan and design feasible projects that meet client requirements and specifications
- Maintain rigorous quality control across all construction phases
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures
- Document project progress and prepare comprehensive reports
Required Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s degree will provide a significant advantage
Experience Criteria:
- At least five years of working experience in construction or civil engineering
- Demonstrated understanding of production and technical functions in concrete management
- Proven track record of successful project delivery
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driving licence
- Adequate knowledge of safety, hazard, and health management will prove advantageous
- Willingness to relocate to the Eastern Region
