ROLE: Sales Operations Coordinator – Accra, Ghana

Qatar Airways has started a journey that will change how we interact with our customers. As part of this process, we are looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to work in Accra, Ghana. In this job, you’ll be in charge of doing the daily sales operations tasks for the assigned region, making sure to follow all processes and policies.

Deliver five-star service to both internal sales teams and external trade partners. This will help QR’s sales activities that bring in money. Take an active role in making sure the sales operations team has a strong sense of team spirit, and help build relationships with internal stakeholders.

Some specific responsibilities are:

• Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) should be followed closely for sales operations functions to make sure they are in line with QR’s global sales operations principles.
• Play a key role in leading the team to complete sales operations tasks, such as reservations and ticketing, support for trade and corporate accounts, group sales, sales support, sales systems, and sales administration.
• Send external trade partners customer-friendly, value-added messages about QR-related things like campaigns, policy changes, and fare changes.
• Help the sales team keep a list of trade partners in the region up-to-date in a database.
• Give line managers and regional management regular reports on the key performance metrics and open issues for the department.
• Help younger people on the team learn how to do their jobs well and keep up high standards.
• Do any other job-related tasks for the department that the Head of the Department tells him or her to do.
• Take care of all sales operations tasks, such as reservations and ticketing, refunds, support for trade and corporate accounts, group sales, sales support, sales systems, and sales administration.
• Deal with refunds.
• Bring up requests for the Commercial Tool Kit in Galaxy for the sales force.
• Platforms for Galaxy and Trade portals need to be taken care of.
• Talk to customers or QR Account Managers about filling out paperwork.
• Make reports for the markets that matter and share monthly reports on performance.
• Keep the customer profiles in Galaxy up to date.
• Put PLB and business contracts in Galaxy.

Qualifications

For this job to go well, you will need.

• High School Diploma or the equivalent, and At least three years of work experience
• Experience in any of the following areas: reservations/ticketing, sales support, group sales, pricing, distribution, or business analysis.
• Being able to write and speak English well
• Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) very well.
• Excellent skills at building relationships and talking to people.
• Good knowledge of how airlines work (for example, pricing and distribution technology), systems (like Amadeus and GDSes), and the travel industry as a whole.
• Problem-solving skills, efficiency-oriented mindset
• Strong skills as a mentor and coach.
• Ability to help team members work together.
