About Role

As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s purchasing strategy for food ingredients and consumables used across restaurant operations. Responsibilities

Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, pricing, and purchasing agreements for food ingredients and consumables
Analyse purchasing costs, ingredient usage, and wastage trends to improve overall cost efficiency
Ensure all purchased products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Plan and forecast purchasing requirements in line with operational needs and business expansion
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and reporting for management decisions
Build strong long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity and reliability of supply

Requirements

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role within the food industry
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Solid background in quality control and food safety compliance
Good command of English is essential; fluency in Chinese is an advantage
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and optimize costs
Ability to work independently in a hybrid working environment
