The Provisional Audiologist position at Amplifon is a full-time opportunity, requiring 40 hours of work each week, Monday through Friday. You will be based in our Gisborne Clinic and play an essential role in assessing and enhancing clients’ hearing experiences.

Job Duties

As a Provisional Audiologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting diagnostic hearing tests and thorough assessments to identify client needs.
  • Fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing aids and related devices for optimal performance.
  • Providing continuous client care, which includes follow-up appointments and rehabilitation support.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records while adhering to company protocols and standards.
  • Educating clients on hearing health and effective device usage.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting with reporting and identifying growth opportunities for the clinic.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Audiology or a recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with the Audiological Society of New Zealand (MNZAS) or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Maintain high clinical standards and strict adherence to protocols.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit empathy and a strong commitment to client care.
  • Possess good judgment and decision-making abilities.
