As a Production Planning Coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring Lakanto’s products are produced on time, at the right cost, and at the quality levels expected by a premium health-focused brand. The position sits at the intersection of supply chain planning, vendor management, forecasting, and internal operations.

You will work closely with contract manufacturers as well as internal teams across Purchasing, Forecasting, Fulfillment, and Sales to align production schedules with business demand and growth plans. Responsibilities

Create, manage, and maintain production schedules based on forecasts and raw material availability
Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure production timelines and delivery commitments are met
Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize projects, manage costs, and support new product launches
Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned contract manufacturing partners
Track production performance metrics and prepare monthly scorecards and operational reviews
Lead regular performance discussions with manufacturers to drive efficiency and accountability
Negotiate and finalize contracts with assigned manufacturing partners
Align manufacturing capacity and capabilities with current and future business growth needs
Conduct capacity planning and long-term production projections to support demand planning

Requirements

Prior experience in supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing coordination
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP or production planning systems
Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
Willingness to work onsite in Orem, Utah
