JOB SUMMARY
To provide the production department with accurate documentations and engineering capabilities to produce the vehicles to the required levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Continuously liaison, negotiate and delivering information with service providers, end-users, suppliers
- Ensure all documentations, machinery and equipment are issued and training provided
- Evaluate and monitor final product and remedial actions taken to address variances
- Submit monthly analysis and reports on status according to set parameters
- Ensure vehicles assembled to specifications
- Ensure evaluation of local components for approval
QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institution
- 5 to 8 years in process engineering with Manufacturing Industry
- Capacity to maintain and follow set guidelines and references with regards to business operations
- Understanding of standards, processes and the way operations are combined in terms as to implement them
- Ability to actively, analyse and improve methods or processes
- Understand the technical fundamentals of needs and feasibility analysis
- Acquire up-to-date knowledge of related fields
- Adeptness to deal with, supervise and interact with coworkers
- Ability to initiate action and make decisions
- Ability to utilise manpower effectively
- Understand the acquisition of skills and knowledge through informal learning process by on-the-job training well as the formal training process
- Ability to motivate, manage and control and maintain team effectiveness and efficiency
- Ability to use basic business communication skills
- Decision -making and problem-solving skills
- Drive for results
- Information search ability Analytical skills
