About the Role

You will lead systems engineering for complex, multidisciplinary medical device programs. This includes turning clinical and customer needs into clear system-level design inputs. You will also lead risk management, verification and validation, and technical design reviews. The role spans the full product lifecycle, from early concept through post-market support. It is onsite four days a week, with less than 10% travel.

Job Duties

• Lead systems engineering for complex medical device programs
• Define system architecture, interfaces, and performance budgets
• Manage requirements development and end-to-end traceability
• Integrate safety, usability, cybersecurity, and software risk into design
• Establish system verification and validation strategies
• Lead design reviews, trade studies, and root-cause investigations
• Mentor systems engineers and build reusable methods

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 7+ years’ relevant experience, or a master’s with 5+, or a PhD with 3+
• Medical device or other regulated industry experience preferred
• Cardiac electrophysiology, ablation, or catheter experience preferred
• Experience with requirements tools such as Polarion, Jama, or DOORS preferred
• Mentoring and technical leadership experience across distributed teams preferred
