Job Duties

• Lead design, development, and testing of packaging systems and containers
• Define packaging specifications based on cost and regulatory requirements
• Design package exteriors considering usability, aesthetics, and manufacturability
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams
• Apply FDA, ISO, and ASTM standards to packaging and labeling
• Manage documentation, including Design History Files and change control
• Support prototype builds and production line development as needed

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of Packaging Engineering experience
• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience also accepted
• PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience also accepted
• Proven experience designing cases and trays for steam sterilization
• Demonstrated mastery of core engineering principles required
• High-level CAD skills are considered essential for this role
• Degree in Packaging Science or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Prior experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred
