Portal open for licensure examination
This publication seeks to inform the General Public that the 2022-2023 NTC Registration Portal is now open to any applicants who wish to apply. Here are guidelines on how to register for the NTC tests in 2022/2023.
About National Teaching Council (NTC)
The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Act 2008 (Act 778), section 9 to improve the professional standing and status of teachers and to license and register teachers in Ghana.
Who Can Register For NTC Licensure Examination?
To be eligible for the 2022-2023 Licensure Examination, candidates should meet the requirements below:
- First and foremost applicants must be Prospective candidates who hold a Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), M.Ed and are desirous of seeking employment as teachers.
- Secondly, candidates should have completed in 2021 or before 2022 to qualify to write the examination at a Regional Centre of their choice
- Lastly, candidates should have written the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination and are not successful, as well as fresh candidates, can register.
