Ghanaian Musician, Edwin Kwame Ohene Darko known as Pope Skinny in Showbiz has claimed that Beyoncé’s “Already” video featuring Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is fake.
Recently, American Superstar, Beyoncé released the Official video of the “Already” song featuring Shatta Wale and Major Lazer and in 24 hours, the video is skyrocketing over 4 million views on YouTube.
On YouTube, the video which was premiered just some hours ago has been spotted to be viewed by music lovers over four million times and still counting showing promising results.
Ghanaians have hailed and congratulated the dancehall king for this feature and this has shown some love and support for Shatta Wale by most Ghanaians.
Pope Skinny on the other hand, did not see things in the perspective of most Ghanaians and has expressed his view in reacting to the recent “Already” video.
Speaking in a video spotted by NewsNowGh, the AsuodenGod mentioned that the video featuring Shatta Wale currently trending all over the world is not real. He stated the the part of the video that showed some dancers painted in green performing was Dancegod Lloyd’s crew.
Pope Skinny then said that the Dancegod Lloyd was not present in America so the video is fake.
He said that Beyoncé wasn’t in Ghana but it was rather her mother who came to Ghana in December, 2019 in line with the year of return initiative.
Pope Skinny in his indication said that the video of Shatta Wale posing with Beyoncé was fake because it was edited.
Not only, he made some throwbacks and comparisons by saying the video is quite like the Black Panther movie. In his assertion, the movie was shot outside Africa but was portrayed to be done in Africa.
He concluded by saying Shatta Wale had not met Beyoncé because he was in America sometime ago the same time as Shatta Wale.
