A pharmaceutical company in Accra with branches in the Regions is searching for individuals with a track record of experience supervising and leading an Internal Audit team for a large conglomerate.

JOB SUMMARY

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year reporting.
• Overseeing accurate and appropriate recordings and analysis of all transactions.
• Conduct a special investigation and audit assignment as requested by the audit committee/ superior.
• Ensuring that internal controls are robust and are adhered to by all.
• Training continued professional development and performance management of staff.
• To evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that is currently in place.
• To supervise monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year stock-taking.
• Ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with relevant laws/regulations.
• Bringing company strengths and weaknesses to the attention of management and providing advice as they develop responses or fixes for these issues.
• Generating reports and presenting findings to management or other interested parties.
• Maintaining awareness of current industry trends, technology, and developments.
• Handling additional duties and special projects to ensure the business is operating efficiently and in compliance with all current regulations.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST:

• Have a first degree in Finance, Accounting from a recognized University and possess at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Be a member of a recognized accountancy/finance body (ACCA, CA- GH, CFC)
• Have advanced skills and knowledge in the use of MS Excel and Word.
