Pezesha New Employment Opportunity Available

Pezesha is an online marketplace for business loans. We connect MSMEs to affordable working capital and other financial services through a collaborative approach with capital providers.

We have an ambitious growth plan to target 100,000 SMEs over the next 2 years across Africa by enabling them with affordable working capital. In addition to providing working capital, we also provide other Support Services to help SMEs grow and thrive.

One example of a Support Service we offer is helping businesses with their digital journeys by beginning with creating a Google My Business profile for their business. Another example is offering Financial Education to entrepreneurs to help them make more informed decisions about their businesses and take better actions.

POSITION: Sales Officer (Support Services)

We are looking for an energetic individual to help us offer these Support Services to 1,000 MSMEs in either the Ashanti or Western Regions over the next 3 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of the target to provide Support Services to 1,000 MSMEs within 3 months.
  • Ideating and executing on strategies and initiatives that will help us achieve that target.
  • Some of these initiatives may include experimenting with different channels/approaches e.g. door-to-door, groups/associations, WhatsApp recordings, YouTube videos, local language content, etc.
  • You will be required to record and evaluate results, and take learnings from those initiatives to guide next steps and future initiatives.
  • Keeping databases, dashboards, and spreadsheets related to our Support Services proposition up-to-date.
  • Being the bridge between the customer and Pezesha by seeking feedback from the customer and suggesting product and process improvements.

Skills, Qualifications and Experiences:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in a sales or related role in a high-growth environment.
  • Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, energy, dedication to collaboration, and patience and works with the highest levels of integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of small business finance and operations.
  • High level of interpersonal maturity, hardworking, and professionalism.
  • Excellent time management and personal organization.
  • Comfortable and effective in managing and communicating with team members and stakeholders based remotely or in different time zones.
  • Willingness to travel within the region you are based.
  • Good MS Office skills and ability to adapt to new technology.
