The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Video Editor with strong motion graphics expertise to join our remote media team. This role is central to producing compelling educational and promotional content that resonates with our audience and upholds our brand standards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, meet monthly production targets, and consistently deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As a Video Editor, you will shape the visual storytelling for our platform. Your core duties will include:
First, you will edit a variety of video content, including online course modules, social media clips, and promotional campaigns.
You will create and integrate dynamic motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, and intros to enhance viewer engagement.
A primary responsibility involves synchronizing audio, adding sound effects, and ensuring superior overall production quality.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with our content and creative teams to fully understand project goals and deliver on the desired outcome.
You will also ensure all video outputs maintain a consistent brand identity and meet our high production standards.
Additionally, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and achieving monthly editing targets.
Finally, you will optimize finished videos for various digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and stay current with the latest editing trends and software.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency and creative flair:

Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and editing work.
High proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (or equivalent tools).
A strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions suitable for digital publishing.
An excellent sense of visual pacing, rhythm, and composition.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong remote communication skills.
A reliable internet connection and access to a fully functional editing workstation.
A committed, results-driven approach to meeting set monthly content delivery targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience editing content for online learning platforms or educational providers.
Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and basic animation principles.
Familiarity with creating content for branding and marketing purposes.
