POSITION: Operations Manager
Job Description
You will be in charge of ensuring that the business’s strategic initiatives for the administration of Pension Schemes are implemented. The incumbent will be in charge of managing all pension administration processes to ensure timely contribution validation, allocation, and redemption. The incumbent will also provide leadership to team members and oversee stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for executing tactical business plans (derived from BU Strategy) at the operational level.
- Maintain timely donation validation and allocation.
- On a monthly basis, monitor, analyze, and provide insights on pension administration processes, as well as detect developing trends.
- Report on default contributions and how to handle them.
- Ensure prompt processing of benefits claims and redemption.
- Effective stakeholder involvement, effective strategic alliances, and improving data integrity.
- Stabilize and maintain an effective management and control environment in pension administration.
- Maintain efficient administration of pension schemes.
- Ensure compliance with pension laws, rules, and regulations.
- Create and implement short-, medium-, and long-term strategies to improve operations and offers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve the customer experience.
- Responsible for clear and effective communication with the team and company.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- A degree in business administration or equivalent from an approved university is necessary.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in related roles.
- Excellent grasp and expertise in the pension industry.
- To fulfill deadlines, you must have strong project management, prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- The ability to behave with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
