POSITION: Cluster Programs Manager

Position Summary
To offer guidance and oversight to AP personnel and partners by ensuring that sponsorship, grants, and other designated resources are utilized in accordance with WV Ghana and WVI policies, procedures, and standards to implement quality programs and fulfill goals in the National Office strategic plan.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Make sure that ADPs annual planning and budgeting activities are carried out in a participatory and inclusive way with all partners (Government, Churches, children, local NGOs, CBOs) to achieve child well-being goals.
- Ensure the timely and appropriate execution and oversight of development and grant programs/projects within the cluster as outlined in DIPs, LEAP budgets, and other planning materials.
- Supervise assessment and foundational procedures of the cluster initiatives in accordance with WV Ghana and WVI protocols, instruments, and directions.
- Ensure stewardship and accountability by making certain that financial and material resources are utilized efficiently and effectively in line with WV Ghana’s policies and procedures within the cluster programs for their intended purpose.
- Support the integration and execution of transition strategies, disaster readiness plans, and the establishment of local organizations (CBOs, FBOs, District Assembly, Municipal Council, State Services, etc.) to achieve child well-being objectives.
- Make sure that you follow sponsorship and child protection standards and effectively incorporated into community transformation programs.
- Ensure the development of staff capacity and skills, along with performance management (which includes timely evaluations and appraisals) within the Area Programme (AP).
- Facilitate and enhance networking connections with leaders from government, churches, faith-based organizations, and other essential partners.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality and punctual narrative and financial reports for monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual ADPs.
- Make sure that audit recommendations receive prompt responses, are completely put into action, and that progress is communicated quarterly to the Head Office Audit Manager and the Regional Operations Manager.
- Development of Staff Capabilities
- Provide an overview of financial policies and procedures to newly hired employees.
- Evaluate the financial training requirements of staff and implement a development strategy.
- Collaborate with partners to determine their financial education requirements, using the outcomes from partner financial capacity evaluations.
- Provide financial education and guidance through collaboration with partners.
Required Skills or Experience
- BA/BSc Degree in Economics, Agriculture, Business Administration, Development Studies/Planning, Social Sciences, or a related field or a Master’s Degree in one of the aforementioned.
- Professional in Project Management (Preferred)
- 5 years in project/program management
- Experience in community development.
- Expertise in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
- Effective collaboration and people management abilities, Strong analytical competencies.
- Experience in budget implementation of at least $500,000 annually.
- Strong financial management and budgeting abilities
