POSITION: Partnerships and Communications Coordinator
About us:
Voazok Tours is an agritourism planning firm that aims to increase interest in agriculture by offering agricultural group tours and travel services in Ghana and overseas. We specialize in creating agricultural tour programs that combine exposure with pleasure. Our agricultural tour packages allow our clients to explore the world of agriculture from a variety of viewpoints, including the opportunity to meet local and foreign farmers and learn about diverse cultures, practices, and agricultural advancements.
Voazok Tours offers travel services, planned agricultural and special interest tour programs, as well as a specialized service for customizing programs to meet specific needs. We also offer highly technical programs, general interest itineraries, and special interest programs based on our clients’ demands. Our strength comes in our capacity to design programs to our clients’ needs and provide specialized travel packages in agricultural, agri-technical, agri-educational, agri-business, and Agri-incentive travel programs both within and outside of Ghana.
Voazok Tour designs and implements agricultural and leisure tour packages for domestic and international groups, professionals, agricultural-related businesses, farmer-based associations, agricultural colleges, and universities.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an amazing Partnerships and Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will generate and sustain strategic alliances, create engaging communications, and increase our brand’s influence.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with the CEO to develop ties with important players in agriculture, tourism, and adjacent businesses.
- Work with partners to develop and implement joint programs and activities.
- Manage cooperation agreements, memorandums of understanding, and reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with the marketing coordinator to create and implement a comprehensive digital communications strategy, including social media, email, and website.
- Create compelling content (press releases, blog articles, and newsletters) to highlight our initiatives’ impact.
- Manage media relations and ensure news coverage.
- Respond to all client questions and reach out to future clients.
- Assisting with event preparation and implementation (workshops, conferences, and tours).
- Maintain the client database by continually updating the spreadsheet.
- Work with the website developer to keep the website’s material up to date.
- Offer administrative support to the team as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, international relations, or a similar discipline.
- Two or more years of experience in partnership, communications, or a related job.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.
- A passion for agriculture, tourism, and cultural exchange.
- Preferred qualifications include experience working in agriculture or tourism businesses.
- Knowledge of Ghana’s agricultural sector.
- Experience with CRM software and database administration.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, Twi) will be beneficial.
