POSITION: Business Applications Analyst

Position Purpose
Oversee VISIONFUND GHANA’s banking applications and databases for procuring and implementing business application software, detailing and documenting operational and reporting needs for all business application requirements, including T24 and mobile applications. He/she will offer timely solutions and outstanding Help Desk Support to employees.
Main Duties
- Offer initial line/help desk assistance to users.
- Examine issues and additional support requests and decide on suitable measures to implement.
- Rank requests based on established criteria and in relation to direct reports.
- Conduct interviews with business systems users to identify and record their requirements for business applications.
- Offer technical support to users requiring assistance with executing technical solutions.
- Offer continuous assistance to end users by resolving issues and troubleshooting assigned helpdesk tickets.
- Conducting software testing and ensuring quality assurance.
- Apply IT service and operational standards, policies, and procedures across all business application systems.
- Instruct end users on using the business system whenever new software versions or modules are deployed.
- Guarantee that the Close of Business, Month, and Year processes are executed smoothly.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position;
- Outstanding customer orientation and interpersonal relationship abilities;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Focus on precision, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to investigate and implement solutions.
- Lastly, familiarity with the Temenos eMerge / T24 Application (Banking System) will be a beneficial asset.
