POSITION: Client Service Officer (Loan Officer)

VisionFund Ghana, a subsidiary of VisionFund International and World Vision, is a Christian microfinance institution dedicated to fostering healthy local economies. We uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any violence or abuse, with safeguarding as a fundamental requirement for all employees. We are currently seeking four Client Service Officers for our branches in Twifo, Tarkwa, and Cape Coast.

Position Purpose

You will act as the essential link between VisionFund Ghana and our clients. Your role involves identifying client needs, promoting our financial products, facilitating loan disbursements and repayments, and actively monitoring client businesses to ensure sustainability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your work directly supports our mission of financial inclusion and community development.

Assess the viability and potential of prospective borrowers’ businesses, providing informed recommendations for microloans.
Ensure clients meet all pre- and post-drawdown conditions before and after loan disbursement.
Facilitate the timely and accurate disbursement of approved loans to clients.
Regularly monitor and assess borrowers’ business operations to ensure timely loan repayment and business health.
Prepare and submit accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess an HND in Marketing or a good first degree in any discipline, with a preference for Marketing, Accountancy, or a Certificate in Agriculture and Rural Development, coupled with relevant fieldwork experience.
Must have completed mandatory National Service.
The ability to ride a motorbike is a significant advantage for this field-based role.
Interested candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified job location.
