POSITION: HR Assistant

Duties
- Assist with all internal and external HR inquiries or requests, guaranteeing prompt and precise responses.
- Keep digital and electronic records of staff, guaranteeing data precision and confidentiality.
- Serve as the liaison with benefit vendors and administrators, helping employees with questions related to benefits.
- Support the hiring process by spotting suitable candidates, performing reference verifications, and distributing employment agreements.
- Oversee and uphold the calendars of the HR management team, arranging meetings and appointments when necessary.
- Supervise the finalization of compensation and benefits paperwork, making sure all required documents are accurately handled.
- Assist in performance management processes, organize employee assessments, and keep associated documentation.
- Organize interviews, HR activities, and meetings while managing schedules and making sure all attendees are updated.
- Organize training sessions and workshops, manage logistics, and guarantee seamless implementation.
- Facilitate new employee orientations and maintain records of incoming staff in HR systems.
- Generate and deliver reports on overall HR activities, including recruitment statistics, training participation, and staff attrition.
- Ensure payroll is processed correctly and resolve any payroll mistakes promptly.
- Support exit interviews and finalize termination documents for employees leaving the organization.
- Keep informed about current HR trends and optimal practices, proposing enhancements to HR procedures when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a similar area.
- At least 2 years of experience as an HR assistant or in a comparable HR support position.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and employment equity laws.
- Skilled in human resources administration and talent management abilities.
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and payroll-associated responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations and optimal approaches.
- Outstanding abilities in both written and spoken communication.
- Capable of performing effectively under stress, adhering to strict deadlines, and managing several responsibilities at once.
- Strong computer skills and expertise in MS Office along with other relevant business and communication software.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
- Robust skills in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Thorough focus on specifics, guaranteeing precision in every assignment.
- Capacity to adhere to directives correctly and autonomously.
