New Job Recruitment at Crossroads International

POSITION: Program Manager

Company Overview

Crossroads International, a pioneer in global collaboration, has been combating inequality for over 60 years. We achieve this by uniting individuals for a shared purpose, aiming to develop enduring solutions to combat poverty and promote women’s rights. Crossroads operates in several of the poorest countries in sub-Saharan Africa. We collaborate with community partner organizations to generate good employment opportunities and to enable women to take on leadership roles and live without violence. Each year, we involve numerous skilled volunteers and staff from both North and South who utilize their knowledge in local contexts to tackle global challenges.

We support local partners who are most capable of addressing the needs of their communities. In collaboration with local partners, we create cooperatives and collective businesses that produce income and promote the independence of youth, women, and the rural impoverished. We test new methods for decreasing violence towards women and girls and promoting women’s rights. Together we are utilizing knowledge, skills, and funds to build a more fair and just world. Crossroads is a recognized charity that receives support from Global Affairs Canada, various governmental and non-governmental sponsors, as well as numerous individual contributors globally.

Crossroads is dedicated to the principles and ideals of accessibility and fairness. Also, Crossroads consistently strives to foster a fair environment of inclusiveness and openness. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee at Crossroads comprises members from different teams and areas within the organization, whose diverse viewpoints are crucial for promoting significant discussions and facilitating effective change.
