POSITION: Credit Administrator & Control

Duties and Responsibilities
Credit Administration
- Maintain the Contract Administration system current concerning contract processes.
- Consistently challenge daily habits and propose ongoing enhancements.
- Engage in outlining the Credit Administration procedures, and in enhancing them alongside the teams (Sales & Credit)
Shipments
- Prepare the contract file and verify that all required documents are properly organized there and/or stored in their original form in the cabinets.
- Verify that down payments have been collected and ensure that the customer is not on the overdue list prior to delivery.
- Confirm that all securities in the contract (fixed charge/pledge, guarantees, immobilizer, insurance) are properly signed, registered, and set up.
Contract management
- Review and authorize incoming supplier invoices for payment, maintain communication with suppliers.
- Determine contract worth and supply settlement computations for rescheduling, early buy-outs, and payment inquiries for legal matters.
- Generate and verify documents concerning earlier calculations. Make sure they are properly signed.
- Provide an ownership transfer letter upon request once the contract has been completely paid.
Collection
- Management of Credit / Control of Bad Debts:
- Monitor the value of overdue receivables and obtain the current status of each customer while suggesting appropriate actions.
- Attend weekly Bad Debts meetings and provide a summary for the Credit Manager highlighting key developments (largest reserves/repossessions).
Recovery and Resale
- Gather details on repossessed units (customs, technical, vehicle documentation) in collaboration with the Stock Coordinator.
- Provide stock details to Scania Distributors and Dealers about repossessed units.

Desirable Experience and Qualifications
- Pertinent Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Law
- Professional experience (3-5 years)
- An asset would be having business knowledge and experience from a comparable position.
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
