Job Title: Locum Staff Nurse
For the aforementioned position, the Volta River Authority is accepting LOCUM applications from Ghanaians who meet the necessary qualifications.
Job Purpose
- Provide General Nursing and Midwifery duties in the Akosombo, Accra and Aboadze Hospitals of the Health Service Department.
- Provide General Nursing and Midwifery duties to clients
- Run Normal/Shift/Standby duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Hospital Superintendent
- Do any additional tasks given to you by the hospital superintendent?
Compensation: In accordance with the VRA’s locum employee compensation policy.
Necessary Education & Experience
- Must possess a Registered General Nursing or Registered Midwifery certificate.
- Must have three years of work experience
- Knowing about health and safety would be advantageous.
In Addition, The Candidate Must
- possess computer literacy
- possess solid communication abilities
- Possess a track record of inspiring employees and guiding them in their work.
- You should also be a competent negotiator, a team player, and able to inspire employees to participate in decision-making.
- possess superior analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities
- Be vivacious, proactive, committed, goal-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Locations: Akosombo, Aboadze, and Accra
