Position Summary

As a Guest Experience Expert, you will serve as the face of Marriott, guiding guests throughout their stay with professionalism and thoughtful attention. Your role goes beyond traditional front desk duties to include resolving requests, sharing local insights, and ensuring every aspect of the guest journey reflects our commitment to “Wonderful Hospitality. Always.” You will have the autonomy to move throughout your workspace, addressing needs proactively and ensuring operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and manage arrival and departure processes with efficiency and care.
  • Provide personalized assistance, answering questions and fulfilling special requests promptly.
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations about local attractions, dining, and entertainment.
  • Process necessary administrative tasks and maintain accurate reports throughout your shift.
  • Uphold Marriott’s high standards for safety, quality, and professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect both guest privacy and company assets.
  • Ensure your uniform, personal appearance, and communication reflect Marriott’s brand excellence.

Physical and Professional Requirements

This role involves frequent movement, including standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. You should feel comfortable handling light objects weighing up to 10 pounds and performing a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. Most importantly, you should bring a positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a consistent commitment to getting things right for our guests and our team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Related Work Experience: No prior experience required
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required
  • License or Certification: None needed
