POSITION: Driver

This is not just a casual driving role. You will take ownership of our vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and well maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities

You will serve as the guardian of our fleet. You will drive company cars according to policy, perform routine checks, and coordinate maintenance with suppliers. Your attention to detail will keep our vehicles running smoothly and safely.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

Driving Company Vehicles: You will operate Advans Ghana cars professionally and safely. You will follow all management policies and traffic regulations without exception.
Maintaining Accurate Records: You will fill out the Logbook for every single trip. You will document routes, distances, and purposes clearly and consistently.
Performing Routine Checks: You will inspect brakes, wires, cables, and tire status regularly. You will catch small issues before they become big problems.
Keeping Vehicles Clean: You will ensure our cars are always presentable. A clean vehicle reflects our professionalism.
Coordinating Regular Maintenance: You will work with suppliers to check filters and basic appliances. You will replace them on time and maintain proper levels of motor oil, brake fluid, cooling fluid, and water according to manufacturer standards.
Reporting Problems Immediately: You will inform your supervisor about any existing or potential vehicle issues right away. You will never hide a problem or hope it goes away.
Managing Documentation: You will ensure that car insurance and vehicle licenses stay current and up to date. You will track renewal dates and take action in advance.
Monitoring Fuel Levels: You will keep an eye on the fuel tank and inform your supervisor before it runs low. You will fill the tank promptly to avoid disruptions.

Qualification and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Basic Education: At least a Senior High School Certificate or Diploma. Your education gives you a foundation for understanding instructions and maintaining records.
Driving Experience: A minimum of one year of driving experience. You know the roads and you know how to handle a vehicle responsibly.
Defensive Driving Skills: You have completed training in defensive driving. You anticipate hazards and react calmly to protect yourself, your passengers, and your vehicle.
Fleet Maintenance Knowledge: You understand the basics of fleet maintenance and management. You know what to check and when to seek professional help.
