POSITION: Sales Assistant

Job Description
Calling new customers to promote replacement parts and support the after-sales department.
Responsibilities
- Following up with customers to foster positive customer connections.
- Handling basic and general inquiries in accordance with business and department procedures.
- Identifying potential clients and building relationships with them.
- Listening to consumers’ questions and concerns and assisting them with their requests.
- Developing sales and customer relationships, as well as reporting on sales performance.
- Resolves promotional allowances, rebates, and pricing anomalies by investigating promotion specifics and normal and special prices, and then transmitting the results to management.
- Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by explaining customer requests, selecting appropriate information, transmitting information, and responding to inquiries.
- Prepares and sends out sales tracking reports to provide performance against projections.
- Sends samples by entering requests, organizing shipments, and alerting customers.
- Maintains customer databases by entering customer information and changes; prepares and distributes monthly reports.
- Prepares sales presentations by gathering data and creating presentation formats and materials.
- Sales expenses are tracked, consolidated, analyzed, and summarized before being forwarded for reimbursement.
Required Skill or Experience
- HND/Degree in Marketing with 2 to 4 years experience in a related capacity.
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be assertive.
- Applicants must be computer-literate.
