POSITION: Human Resource Manager
Job Description
Brainy Bairn School is a private international school in West Legon, Accra. We are now looking for a well-qualified candidate to lead our Human Resources Department.
The Role
- As the Talent Lead at Brainy Bairn School, you will be responsible for attracting the brightest, most qualified, and most talented individuals to join the school team.
- Create and administer all of the School’s Human Resource policies.
- Project and position Brainy Bairn School as one of the most desirable employers in Ghana and elsewhere.
- Coordinate and manage the advertising, recruitment, and selection procedures for all staff recruitment, including advertisement placement, shortlisting, interview arrangements, and final selection of the best candidate for the advertised position.
- Work as a strategic collaborator with the Directors and Principal on staffing and employee professional development.
- Provide day-to-day advice and encourage a complete performance review system that will recognize and reward hard work, talent, and dedication to duty, while also exposing underperforming employees who will be recommended for training or fired.
- Create thorough job descriptions for all tasks, monitor work quality, and ensure workers adhere to school rules, procedures, and statutory restrictions.
Required Skill or Experience
Qualifications & Skills
- A master’s degree in human resource management from a reputed university is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior human resource management position.
- Must be a member of a recognized HR professional association (both local and worldwide).
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, as well as good stakeholder management. An additional modern foreign language will be beneficial.
- Must be computer savvy and capable of using the Microsoft Office suite, database programs, and internet services.
