Job Title: Digitalization Manager

We are seeking a visionary Digitalization Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Engineering and Projects Director. This pivotal role involves architecting and implementing a modern industrial landscape that harnesses the full potential of Industry 4.0 technologies. You will lead our digital transformation to enhance operational excellence, drive innovation, and deliver on our strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive digitalization strategy aligned with GBfoods’ long-term business goals across Africa.
Champion the integration of advanced technologies, including IoT, AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing, into core manufacturing and business processes.

Technology and Process Transformation:

Oversee the implementation and optimization of cyber-physical systems and automation solutions to boost efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
Drive the digital transformation of manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless process integration and real-time data utilization.

Data and Change Management:

Establish robust data management frameworks to support analytics-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
Lead organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration between IT and operational teams.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in engineering, project management, and digital transformation, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG.
Hands-on expertise in factory automation, industrial control systems, and industrial IT platforms (e.g., IoT, ERP systems like SAP S4 HANA).
Proven track record in managing complex digital projects from conception to implementation.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
