POSITION:Â Area Sales Digital Manager
SummaryÂ
The Area Sales Digital Manager needs to provide top-quality service, focus on customer needs, and add value for both customers and Hapag-Lloyd. They will also be in charge of developing and promoting our digital sales channels, both within the company and to our customers.
Jobs and Duties
- Talk with the Regional Digital team and DBT to set goals for your area.
- Set goals based on the types of customers we have and choose the right online channels to reach them.
- INTRRA, direct EDI, and HL Webpage are different ways to share and exchange information.
- Help, train, and support the Area team with HL digital products, including visiting customers if needed.
- Keep track of how well your area is doing in reaching its goals.
- Regularly connecting with Digital Teams from other Areas.
- Share useful methods between regions, hold workshops on digital tools in each area, and gather feedback from the market.
- Check the accuracy of how people use the digital product.
- Gather customer opinions.
- Talk to the Region about possible improvements (for example, improvements to systems, informational materials, training, and more.
- Share general, marketing, and strategy information in the area.
- Be the connection between the Area, the Region, and DBT for all digital products and change projects.
Job Requirements and Skills
- College degree or something similar.
- At least 3 years of experience in a business-related job, ideally in the shipping industry.
- Great at talking and listening.
- Good understanding of FIS and other HL systems.
- Basic skills in using MS Office.
- A team player who focuses on getting results and takes initiative.
- Ability to stay focused and do your job well when things get stressful.
- Focused on goals and deadlines.
- Good skills for managing time well.
- Be open to new ideas and encourage yourself to grow and improve.
