POSITION: ICT Program Director (PD)
About the Opportunity:
We are searching for a Program Director (PD) in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to oversee several projects within the CSS (Cloud Software Services) BOS domain (BSS/OSS), ensuring they meet their objectives regarding scope, timeline, budget, and quality as per the agreement with the project sponsor.
You will guarantee that a contract for products and/or services is provided to the satisfaction of the Customer, Program sponsor, and Ericsson. To achieve success, you must document specifics and define the project scope, obtain required resources, and schedule and oversee all essential activities. Depending on the category and complexity of the project, you will actively participate in the project governance group and involve stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a robust Customer Relationship at the Executive Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, etc.). Regularly visit the customer’s location and act as an Ericsson representative to enhance the customer’s confidence in Ericsson as a partner.
- Direct upsell prospects
- Guide the team, engage with them, assist them in their career development, and to identify and appreciate their skills!
- Assist in asset and organizational establishment and expansion; a key factor in developing the Professional Service culture, refining delivery methods, and gathering optimal practices from the implemented programs.
- Require practical experience for project delivery.
- Ensure contract execution, set up the program structure, define the scope, and obtain essential resources at an appropriate cost level.
- Ensure adherence to both contractual obligations and business case specifications for delivery.
- Manage program executions and ensure delivery aligns with the agreed scope and deadlines.
- Require expertise in ICT, BSS, and demonstrated success in Operator Transformation Programs and Projects with a minimum budget of 10M USD.
- Oversee project operational interactions with the client, organizing meetings, customer events, and maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership abilities are necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the account team during presales, accountable for contract implementation strategy, cost assessments, time and resource planning.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum years of experience: Over 10 years in the ICT industry.
- Proven experience of multiple years in a project and/or program manager position; or a comparable leadership position.
- Domain and Technology expertise: BSS, OSS.
- Fields of Expertise: Ericsson Charging, Ericsson Billing, Ericsson Implementations of Virtual Network Functions
- Certification: PMI© project management certification (PMP) or similar
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and proficient in both written and verbal communication.
- Customer-oriented with a desire to comprehend business and client requirements.
- Professional demeanor with strong skills in prioritization, time management, and achieving results.
- Excellent collaborator with strong interpersonal abilities.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in People Management and an MBA are advantageous.
- Experiences associated with methodologies, techniques, and tools in project management.
- Expertise is associated with the type of project and the nature of its results.
- Experience in the Telecom/IS/IT sector.
- Experience collaborating with global decentralized organizations, adept at fostering a positive work atmosphere in a virtual setting through phone, email, and collaboration tools as methods of communication.
- Familiarity/expertise in Ericsson Business Process (EBP) IT Process, ITIL, eTOM
