About the Role

As a Second Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our daily manufacturing operations. You will ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products while strictly adhering to corporate policies and industry regulations. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

Operating and monitoring production machinery to achieve target output and quality standards
Performing routine maintenance tasks to troubleshoot and repair process equipment
Conducting regular safety and quality inspections throughout the production area
Maintaining accurate production records and documentation, both manually and electronically
Preparing finished products for shipment while ensuring proper inventory tracking
Identifying and reporting any environmental, health, safety, or food quality concerns
Collaborating with team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges
Adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications:

Higher National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science
Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production processes and equipment operation
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic equipment repairs
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good communication skills and team collaboration abilities

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols
Familiarity with Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) standards
Experience with documentation and record-keeping systems
Technical skills in equipment calibration and maintenance
