About the Role

As a Neurologist at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, you will join an established neurology service providing both outpatient clinic care and inpatient consultations in a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The hospital is nationally recognized for stroke care excellence and is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including Ceribell EEG monitoring and traditional EEG services.

You will work alongside a strong hospitalist team and benefit from virtual neurologist support for acute stroke alerts, as well as collaboration within a statewide neuroscience network. The role also offers academic exposure through affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine. In 2026, you will practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art multispecialty clinic, designed to enhance collaboration and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive neurological care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions
Participate in stroke care and acute neurology consultations
Interpret EEG studies and utilize advanced neurodiagnostic tools
Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and the statewide neuroscience team
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
