Netherlands Radboud Scholarship Programme 2026
Dreaming of pursuing a world-class Master’s degree in the Netherlands? The Radboud Scholarship Programme for the 2026-2027 academic year offers a prestigious opportunity for outstanding international students. This merit-based award significantly reduces the financial barrier to studying at one of Europe’s leading universities.
Scholarship Benefits: More Than Just Tuition Reduction
Selected scholars receive a comprehensive financial package designed to support their academic journey in the Netherlands. Primarily, the scholarship provides a major tuition fee reduction. Consequently, the standard non-EEA tuition fee is lowered to just €2,695 for the academic year. Additionally, the award covers all essential immigration and insurance costs. This includes the fees for your Dutch visa, residence permit, and comprehensive health and liability insurance through Aon Student Insurance.
However, please note that the scholarship does not cover living expenses such as accommodation, food, or personal costs. Students must budget separately for these.
Eligibility: Who Can Apply?
This competitive scholarship targets high-achieving students from specific regions. To qualify, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Hold a passport from a country outside the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA).
- Possess no previous degrees from Dutch educational institutions and have not previously enrolled in Dutch higher education.
- Have applied for and gained full admission to a qualifying English-taught Master’s programme at Radboud University starting September 1, 2026.
- Meet all the English language proficiency requirements for your chosen programme.
- Be able to comply with all conditions for obtaining a Dutch student visa and residence permit.
- Commit to enrolling as a full-time student for the entire programme.
Important Note: Most English-taught Master’s programmes are eligible, except for Erasmus Mundus and joint-degree programmes. You must check your specific programme’s eligibility.
