POSITION: Sales Manager

Job Description

Neizer Prime Ltd., a consumer products, personal care, and services company based in Sowutuom, Accra, wants a dedicated and marketing-focused Sales Manager to lead the PLASENCE brand team. PLASENCE introduced its female sanitary pad line in January 2024 and is gradually gaining market share. PLASENCE was founded to improve everyone’s comfort and well-being by offering simple, awe-inspiring health and wellness products that promote good hygiene.

The Sales Managers will report to the Head of Operations/CEO and be responsible for all elements of product sales, particularly personal hygiene items. The Sales Manager will oversee product sales efforts to meet realistic sales targets while cultivating partnerships with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers. The candidate should be able to create revenue-driven sales plans and manage product distribution and sales channels from lead generation to close.

Key Responsibilities

Sales managers are largely responsible for leading their teams to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating plans and strategies for expanding business and meeting the company’s sales objectives.
  • Managing sales, operations, and resources to achieve profitable growth.
  • Defining the ideal sales force structure and hiring to scale the team in response to market conditions and prospects.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales staff, monitoring performance, and revising techniques as needed.
  • Overseeing the sales team’s activities and performance by tracking sales goals, establishing individual sales targets, and facilitating continual sales training.
  • Conducting evaluations, and appraisals, and providing constructive comments to the sales team can help them perform better.
  • Working together with the marketing team to generate consistent leads.
  • Collaborating with top executives to set and achieve a regional sales objective.
  • Managing extensive reporting on sales metrics and KPIs, as well as modifying sales approaches and strategies in response to data analysis.

Required Skill or Experience

  • A degree or experience in sales and marketing.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a sales capacity or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Excellent bargaining and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Requirements include a fast-paced work environment and the ability to network within the sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time-management abilities.
