POSITION: Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Analyst at NCR Atleos, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will be diverse, spanning core financial reporting to detailed account analysis. More specifically, your day-to-day activities will include:
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Statement Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring they are fully compliant with applicable accounting standards such as IFRS, AASB, or GAAP.
- Closing Processes: You will play a key role in ensuring both the month-end and year-end close processes are completed accurately and on time, a critical function for the business.
- General Ledger Management: Your duties will include preparing general ledger entries, performing detailed account reconciliations, and posting necessary journal entries to keep our records precise.
- Audit Support: You will provide essential support during external and internal audits, which involves preparing requested schedules and responding professionally to auditor queries.
Inventory & Accounts Payable Analysis
- ERP Processing: A core function of this role involves processing month-end close activities within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Data Verification: You will be tasked with running reports to verify that all system interfaces are complete, accurate, and free of errors.
- Reconciliation: Furthermore, you will prepare monthly Accounts Payable sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliations, diligently investigating and resolving any variances that may arise.
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need a solid educational foundation combined with significant hands-on experience. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
- Professional Certification: While not required, a recognized professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred and will set you apart.
- Relevant Experience: You should have between five and eight (5-8) years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis roles, demonstrating a clear progression of responsibility.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong, working knowledge of financial reporting standards and core accounting principles is essential for success in this position.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience working with major ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is required, alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
