POSITION: Sales Manager
Job Description
NAYA Naturals Limited (NAYA by Africa) seeks a full-time Sales Manager based in Accra. The candidate must possess a strong enthusiasm for sales, brand growth, and a thorough comprehension of prospecting and cultivating robust relationships with clients.
The Sales Manager will oversee the creation and implementation of sales strategies, supervise retail outlets, and train the sales personnel. They will also locate and focus on potential clients, oversee customer relations, and reach sales goals and aims. The position also entails examining market trends, creating sales reports, and working with other departments to synchronize sales strategies with company goals.
You will require outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, along with project management skills. The ideal candidate must also be organized, possess problem-solving skills, think creatively, and have the ability to lead and nurture a dynamic sales team to achieve set objectives.
Main Duties
Enhancing Customer Experience
- Interacting with potential customers, grasping their requirements, and offering distinctive experiences across all retail channels and interactions, both online and offline.
- Examining consumer behaviour, market patterns, and creating strategies to enhance customer involvement and loyalty.
- Manage order delivery at every customer interaction point.
- Discovering creative methods to link and consistently interact with clients and intended audiences.
- Monitoring sales objectives, tactics, prospects, and client feedback, and providing management with weekly reports on results.
Overseeing Retail Team, Locations & Events
- Overseeing product stock and the availability of sales supplies at all retail sites.
- Visual merchandising at retail locations to maintain brand consistency and effective product presentation.
- Preserving retail tools and resources
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to pinpoint and attract leading sales professionals.
- Training Sales Associates on Procedures, Tactics, Merchandise Details, and Client Support
- Guide the sales team to enhance their skills to assist them in reaching personal and collective goals.
Business Growth
- Collaborate with the management team to create budgets and establish objectives for the brand, team, and product growth and development.
- Capability to assess market trends, conduct research, and create sales reports.
- Establish, Oversee, Assess, and Document all Sales-related activities.
- Create and implement strategies to promote business in both new and established markets.
- Working alongside the Marketing Team for campaigns, advertisements, and content development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Business Management or a similar discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in Retail Management, Operations Management, Marketing, Sales, or Business Development.
- Proficient in CRM tools and tech-savvy is an advantage.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated effective leadership and project management abilities.
- Strategic, inventive, and imaginative individual with robust business insight.
- Skilled at multitasking with the capability to swiftly prioritize and efficiently assign tasks.
- Experience in the fashion or beauty product sector is an advantage.
- Capability to function autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work during weekends and holidays
