Popular musician Mzbel, known in private life as Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah has disclosed that she is going to stay away from anything related to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The hiplife artist made this statement during an interview on Peace Fm’s Entertainment review show on Saturday, 15 August 2020. She outlined that though she remains a member of the National Democratic Congress, she would not publicize or post anything related to the NDC on social media again. The 16 years hit maker also said that no one could change the fact that she is a member of the political party but she would not get involved in any campaign. Moving on, Mzbel gave a tangible reason for making a decision of this sort. She explained that, she does not want anyone to insult or disrespect any politician or elderly person because of her post. According to the controversial singer, people often insult her and other respected persons whenever she posts something related to politics on her social media platforms. She furthered that this action by Ghanaians is very discouraging and it could affect some politicians.
Ending, she categorically stated that under no circumstance would she give people a reason to talk by posting NDC stuff.
