About the Fellowship

What Fellows Receive
Fellows earn a ₹70,000 stipend every month during the fellowship. A ₹50,000 annual grant covers conferences and publication charges. Another ₹50,000 yearly grant funds consumables and research equipment. Fellows also receive standard university paid leave benefits.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a PhD and be under 35 years old. Any nationality may apply, with no geographic restriction. Candidates need four Q1/Q2 papers published within the last two years. Fellows cannot hold other jobs or external funding during the term.
Required Materials
Applicants submit two recommendation letters alongside academic credentials. A statement of purpose, at least 500 words, is required. Applications go through MUJ’s official online portal.
