Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will take care of and run the hotel’s Digital Marketing and E-commerce activities. This includes, but is not limited to, coming up with a strategy, updating content, managing social media, email marketing, display and programmatic campaigns, Metasearch and Online Travel Agency optimization, and developing a social media presence.

What you will be doing:

• Build a Plan and budget for the hotel’s direct and indirect digital channels for the next year.
• Contribute to Hotel Strategy and work closely with key stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Revenue, Public Relations, and Food & Beverage.
• Make quarterly and annual plans for e-commerce and digital marketing that cover all digital channels and levers (Direct and Indirect).
• Plan and carry out all digital marketing activities, like emailing, social media, display, Metasearch, and influencers, but not just those.
• Reporting and analyzing the performance of both the direct and indirect web.
• Measure the success of all digital marketing campaigns and report on them. Compare the results to your goals.
• Make sure the hotel is present on the most important social platforms for the source markets and the creation of social content.
• Take care of the Hotel’s reputation online.
• Review and keep an eye on the hotel’s competitor set on a regular basis to keep it competitive in terms of the quality of its content and the appeal of its offers.
• Find trends and new ideas, and use those ideas to improve spending and performance.
• Use your strong analytical skills to look at the whole customer experience across different channels and points of contact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Give direction and your point of view when it comes to adoption.

Qualifications

Some of your skills and experiences are:

• At least 5 years of experience in E-Commerce or digital marketing in retail or hospitality.
• A degree in Marketing and Communications or Hotel Management
• A mix of excellent analytical and business skills, as well as a strategic and creative vision.
• Content management systems and have shown that they know how to use them. You must know how to use MS Office.
• Both spoken and written English are very good.
• Strong understanding of the latest ideas, strategies, and best practices in digital marketing.
• Excellent at giving presentations and getting along with customers.
• Work-driven and full of energy.
• A new way of doing things at work.
