Job Description
A book publishing firm is looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive to assist in promoting and selling the company’s products (books).
Duties
- Visiting sales venues (schools, bookshops, book fairs) to promote company publications.
- Exploring and seeking new retail opportunities in both conventional and unconventional sales channels.
- Create consistent reports on ongoing sales and performance.
- Offer assistance to customers and handle administrative tasks.
- The applicant is required to possess a driver’s license.
Necessary Skills or Experience
- The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of one year of experience in sales.
- The candidate should have writing and presentation skills essential for communicating through email, social media, video calls, or face-to-face.
- Sales representatives need to communicate efficiently during the sales process, starting from initial outreach and follow-ups to advancing a potential deal.
- Should be highly familiar with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- A candidate with a valid driver’s license holds an advantage.
