Ghanaian songwriter, Mista Myles, has asserted that, Stonebwoy’s popular track “Putuu” has the capacity to live as long as 20 years in the scene of music.
Stonebwoy’s “Putuu” has been in the scene since it release in July. Ghanaians warmly accepted it though there were a few criticisms.
In an interview on eTV’s Late Note Celebrity Show, Mista Myles said that the manner in which the masses receive a song determines how long the song will continue to remain relevant in the system. The fast rising artiste added that the Bhim Nation Boss’s celebrated song would be one of the songs he would play for his kids and tell them how we used to jam with it. Mista Myles stressed on the fact that people these days enjoy party songs and therefore it would only be logical to serve them with such songs. Moving on, The “Die for me” singer emphasized that artistes should be able to offer the public with what they want. However, he advised that they read themselves and find out what they want their legacy to be and how far the want their music to go. According to the singer, the most important thing in music right now is a promotion strategy. To him, the time and money invested into ones music is more essential than the mere creation of songs. He nonetheless outlined that, music creations that come naturally and from the heart will automatically be great.
