A leading Mining Contracting Firm is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their dedicated team as Maintenance Manager.
ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The job holder will assume overall accountability for personnel, budget and resource management and ensure the availability of equipment, including fleet of heavy-duty, light vehicle and ancillary equipment in order to achieve maximum production in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Education
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent Financial, commercial and project management through work experience and courses
Advanced knowledge in maintenance principles and industry standards, work management process, planning and scheduling of equipment.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT
Must possess Engineering Manager Certificate of Competency from the Mineral Commission of Ghana
