Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair VHF/UHF communication systems and mobile fleet management hardware and software
Commission high-precision machine guidance systems and fleet management systems
Install and maintain point-to-point microwave and WiFi mesh communication systems
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure systems meet safety and operational standards
Assist with mining databases, system reporting, and data accuracy
Manage and maintain inventory for communication and fleet management system components
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support uninterrupted mine operations

Requirements

Proven experience installing, maintaining, and fault-finding radio communication equipment and fleet management systems
Experience configuring and programming communication devices
Strong understanding of microwave PTP and PTMP radio systems and antenna technologies
High attention to detail with an aptitude for learning complex technical systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work in a mining environment and adapt to changing operational priorities
