About Role

As an MDG Developer, you will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance solutions that manage critical data objects such as Materials, Vendors, Customers, and Bills of Materials. You will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure master data supports manufacturing processes such as procurement, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and enhance SAP MDG solutions for Material, Supplier, Customer, and BOM master data
Build and maintain data models, UI models, validations, derivations, and rules frameworks
Develop and enhance workflows, BRF+ rules, and change request processes
Implement and optimize Data Replication Framework (DRF) integrations with S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party systems
Support industry-specific master data structures related to manufacturing and textile processes
Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services
Enforce data governance rules, quality standards, and compliance workflows
Lead data cleansing, migration, and mass update activities during rollouts or expansions
Provide L2/L3 support, documentation, and user training for MDG solutions
Collaborate closely with business, functional, and technical teams across the organization

Requirements

At least 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MDG Developer
Strong expertise in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling/FPM, BRF+, Workflow, and DRF
Experience working with Material Master and BOM governance in manufacturing environments
Solid technical knowledge of ABAP (OO ABAP preferred)
Experience integrating MDG with S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party systems
Strong understanding of manufacturing or textile master data concepts
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Eligibility for H-1B visa sponsorship or relevant U.S. work authorization
