About the Role
As a Maintenance Services Technician / Representative, you will be responsible for aircraft and in-flight entertainment (IFE) maintenance across major Australian ports including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Cairns, Darwin, Perth, and other emerging locations. The role involves hands-on aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, defect rectification, and compliance with strict aviation safety and regulatory standards.
This position requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.

Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft and in-flight entertainment (IFE) maintenance and technical support
- Inspect, dismantle, test, repair, and install aircraft components, systems, and equipment
- Troubleshoot and rectify defects using built-in test systems and specialised testing equipment
- Conduct routine pre-flight line maintenance checks and inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and certification documentation
- Respond to defects identified during inspections or recorded by flight crew
- Read and apply engineering drawings and manufacturer instructions
- Test and operate aircraft communication systems
- Assist with spares inventory management and parts preparation
- Comply with CASA/EASA regulations and company safety standards
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- AQF Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer
- Appropriate qualifications to meet CASA/EASA regulatory licensing requirements
- Eligibility for or possession of an unrestricted CASA Licence Cat B1 with relevant aircraft type ratings
- Ability to obtain a Red ASIC and pass security and background checks
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work in varied environmental conditions
