POSITION: Sales & Marketing Manager – Automotive

Position Summary

Offer leadership skills in delivering effective and targeted sales and marketing approaches,

Cultivate and expand a profitable regional market while fostering essential relationships to promote sustainable growth, capability, and commercial enterprise.

Enhance and expand the client and partner network while monitoring market trends, new prospects, and potential risks.

This is a combined role where the holder will manage relationships with key customers and important automotive partners, create and execute the company’s marketing, public relations, and advertising strategies, and supervise all sales operations in the designated country/region to meet sales and marketing objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating annual and long-term business plans; project performance relative to business KPIs; formulate business cases for significant activities/projects; and assess the financial and human resources needed to achieve performance objectives.
  • Create and/or present budget proposals with support from senior team members.
  • Create and execute a relationship management strategy for strategic, intricate potential clients to establish essential connections at both the local and national levels.
  • Facilitate the interaction between your organization and the customer organization to guarantee an efficient exchange of information and problem resolution.
  • Assess the skills of personnel in the department to pinpoint deficiencies and prioritize training initiatives. Apply structured development frameworks in the designated area of responsibility.
  • Reach a consensus with the client and collaborate with internal sales team members to guarantee that customer needs are satisfied while maintaining an acceptable degree of profitability and cash flow, or, conversely.
  • Evaluate and approve intricate sales proposals from team members that differ from standard conditions, referring issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Manage the implementation and upkeep of the CRM system in the designated area, recognizing and conveying opportunities for system enhancements that could improve customer relationship management.
  • Clarify how this relates to the overall mission, vision, and values of the organization; inspire individuals to embrace these principles and accomplish remarkable outcomes to realize local business objectives.
  • Observe and assess performance and actions within the designated area of responsibility to detect and address any noncompliance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulatory standards and codes of conduct.
  • Oversee and document performance in the department or designated area; establish suitable performance goals for direct reports and ensure individuals are responsible for meeting them.
  • Guide and mentor individuals to foster the growth of the organization’s talent reservoir.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 8 – 10 Experience in managing an automotive technical enterprise or in a business providing complete services within the automotive sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of technical expertise in customer relationship management.
  • Education: Bachelor Degree

  • Technical and mechanical abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial-minded character
  • This role requires essential experience in general management.
  • Meticulous problem-solving abilities are required for making atypical diagnoses.
  • Capable of providing the utmost quality of customer service.
  • The capability to hire employees and assess their performance.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, encompassing leadership, people management, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Should have experience with computer software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Effective financial ability to plan and monitor the budget and profit.
  • The capacity to read and understand documents like safety regulations, operating and maintenance guidelines, and procedure handbooks.
  • Capability to compose regular reports and correspondence. Skill to communicate effectively in front of groups of clients or staff members of the organization.
