About the Role

You’ll complete assessments and contribute to individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.

Additionally, you will administer medications, treatments, and wound care while documenting all care activities using electronic systems like PointClickCare. Effective communication will be essential, as you’ll liaise with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will also delegate tasks to care aides and participate in care conferences and medication reviews, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

Job Duties

Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • Active registration as an LPN in good standing with BCCNM.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (e.g., PointClickCare, eMAR).
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Effective critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
