POSITION: Project Planner
Job Summary:
In your role as a project planner, you will focus on meticulously creating and managing project timelines, distributing resources, and supervising schedules to guarantee successful project outcomes while adhering to quality benchmarks. Your position is crucial in managing tasks, maximizing resource use, and tackling possible setbacks.
Key Responsibilities and Obligations:
Project Timelines:
- Create comprehensive project timelines with planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to guarantee the on-time finishing of construction projects.
- Divide the project scope into tasks and milestones.
- Track and revise the timetable to incorporate any adjustments or postponements.
Resource Administration:
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to guarantee that materials, equipment, and personnel are accessible as per the timeline.
- Monitor and oversee resource distribution to enhance effectiveness and avoid postponements.
Monitoring and Reporting Progress:
- Track project advancement and assess actual outcomes against the intended timeline.
- Compile and present routine progress updates to stakeholders, emphasizing any variances from the timeline.
- Recognize risks or setbacks and collaborate with the project team to establish remedial measures.
Expense Management:
- Help monitor the project’s finances alongside the quality survey department by making sure that timelines correspond with budget predictions.
- Assess how delays or modifications to the schedule affect project expenses and timelines.
Risk Management:
- Recognize possible scheduling threats and suggest methods for their reduction.
- Evaluate modifications to the project (such as changes in scope or delays) and analyze their effect on the entire timeline.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the main contact for all inquiries and updates regarding scheduling.
- Coordinate with project managers, construction crews, subcontractors, and clients to guarantee effective schedule communication.
Quality Control:
- Make certain that all scheduling tasks adhere to quality benchmarks and project specifications. Consistently assess the quality of planning documents and reports.
Documentation and Record Maintenance:
- Keep precise documentation of project timelines, revisions, and modifications.
- Supply records for audits, evaluations, and project assessments.
Skills:
- Skill to engage efficiently with project stakeholders across all tiers.
- Keen focus on details and the ability to solve problems.
- Awareness of building procedures, agreements, and legal standards

Qualifications/Experience:

- Experience in large-scale commercial construction projects is required.
