Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Manager to lead our local operations team in a role that offers immediate, tangible impact. This position gives you the autonomy to drive marketplace strategy, influence movement patterns, and directly shape the urban landscape.

Your Mission

You will take full ownership of local operations, leading a dedicated team and collaborating with cross-functional and headquarters stakeholders. Your primary mission is to strengthen our driver ecosystem, optimize marketplace health, and deliver an exceptional experience for all our partners. You will see the results of your work in real-time as you help build the future of mobility in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be dynamic and impactful, focusing on these core areas:

Driver Strategy and Growth: You will develop and execute innovative strategies to enhance the driver value proposition. Your focus will be on growing our supply base, improving driver performance, and increasing long-term retention.
Team Leadership and Execution: Leading and mentoring the local operations team is a central responsibility. You will define precise operational processes that deliver strong results while keeping our drivers and fleet partners at the forefront of every decision.
Hands-On Partner Management: You will take a proactive, hands-on approach to managing our supply base. This involves guiding drivers and fleet partners through the entire lifecycle—from acquisition and onboarding to activation and ongoing support.
Data Analysis and Insights: You will continuously monitor key supply metrics to assess marketplace health. Using a highly analytical approach, you will translate data into actionable insights to drive operational improvements.
Strategic Initiative and Collaboration: Furthermore, you will identify local trends, risks, and opportunities. You will then advise and collaborate closely with HQ teams in Product, Marketing, and Legal to develop and launch initiatives that fuel growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Your Profile and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

A minimum of six years of progressive professional experience, with a significant portion in operations or a related field.
Proven experience managing and developing complex teams.
Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, with outstanding negotiation and communication abilities in English.
A strong sense of ownership and a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
A highly analytical, data-driven mindset with excellent numerical skills for informed decision-making.
The ability to create robust analytical and decision frameworks to guide strategic planning.
